Final Countdown is On!

Only 5 days until our big adventure finally starts!  We still need to pack, but have gotten most of the financial things in order.  Missing our dog soooo much.  I didn't know that it would be so hard.  Missing petting him, hearing him around the house, and his unique smell.  Lots of tears and fond memories.  The kids are dreaming of Sam and crying when they need to.  Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support!

A Tribute to Sammy

It was a sad weekend for us because our faithful dog Sam went to Heaven.  Jeff and I rescued Sammy from the pound when he was just two-and-a-half and he has been the best dog that a family could have.  We will always remember him with the greatest of love and miss him very much!

Countdown to Singapore!

Twelve days until our plane leaves for Singapore!  So much to do still.  How many suitcases does a family of 5 need to bring to live in 90 degree weather for 6 months?  Any guesses?
