Back to the Botanic Gardens
We went back to the Botanic Gardens yesterday and were still not able to see the entire park. We thought we would go explore the children's garden, but never made it as the kids found a stream to play in and didn't want to leave. We had a picnic at the park and the kids "fished" in the streams for tadpoles and minnows. The kids are really adjusting to the amount of walking that we are doing and to the heat. They didn't complain about either yesterday, and it was so nice!
This is an orchid garden that is growing around posts.
This is known as Swan Lake. There is a swan statue in the middle and swans swim freely on this lake.

ReplyDeleteI visited the botanical gardens on one of my trips there and remember how beautiful it is. It sounds like the troops are getting use to the forced marches. Maybe it's time to hike to Malaysia.
