First Day!

It is 4:45 am and we are all awake and talking about our trip.  We got in yesterday at about noon (Wednesday) local time (which was about 9pm on Tuesday night for you all)!  The day consisted of unpacking, exploring our new high-rise residence, and going to the pool...of course!  The heat was definitely a shock and it is going to be great having a pool here!  After we got settled in, we decided to go out for some food, since there was nothing here to eat in the apartment.  Walking around the city with 3 jet-lagged and overtired kids, and 2 parents who had not slept was probably not the best idea!  We are living very close to some main shopping areas, but trying to find some American food for the kids, to ease the shock of this move, was not an easy task.  The kids were beginning to melt down from lack of sleep, and when we finally found a Subway Sandwich Shop we were thrilled.  We took a taxi back to our apartment, ate our sandwiches, and were asleep by 7pm local time (which was 4 am your time).  We are now waiting for the free breakfast to begin (we only have to wait 2 more hours!).
