Walking home from the Botanic Gardens, the kids spotted a playhouse they wanted to explore. Upon further inspection, we found out that it was connected to a restaurant and to play on it, you would need to eat there. We decided that it would be perfect to come back with Jeff for dinner. It was a great call and while Jeff and I enjoyed talking and relaxing before our meal came, the kids played on the swings, zip line, and in the playhouse. They were also excited to meet some other kids, who were also there for dinner, and play with them. Jeff and I enjoyed talking with two Australian women who have been living in Singapore for 2 years. They talked of their experiences and shared about some of their favorite places to see; both in Singapore and in the surrounding countries. We have met quite a few ex-pats already and so many of them are here from Australia.
So cool how that amazing playground is part of a restaurant.....need more of those in the states, instead of just playlands at Mickey D's and Carls Jr.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like ya'll never stop! It's going to be a very busy 6 months!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the pace--the kids will never forget these experiences.
